Description
Acer palmatum ‘Skeeter’s Broom’ is a deciduous cultivar with a narrow, dense, upright growth habit, making it an excellent selection for adding vertical interest in small or confined spaces. 1 Its small, bright-red leaves in spring mature to a deep burgundy throughout the summer and then transform into a brilliant scarlet in autumn, providing a stunning seasonal display. 2 This cultivar thrives in moist and well-drained soils but may be susceptible to leaf scorch in conditions of excessive sun, wind, or drought. 3 It is cold-hardy and can also be cultivated as bonsai. 3
