Description
Leptospermum scoparium ‘Martini’—a mānuka selection that arose as a seedling in Martin’s Whanganui nursery and entered the Duncan & Davies catalogue around 1945—sprinkles itself in spring with single, pink-blushed white blossoms, adding a soft, refined accent to beds, borders, or pots. Evergreen and drawn from a species native to Aotearoa New Zealand and southeastern Australia, ‘Martini’ supplies year-round structure and a seasonal flourish of colour with little demand on the gardener.
