Description
Leptospermum nitidum ‘Copper Sheen’—an evergreen Tasmanian tea-tree first noted in cultivation before 1966, probably as a chance seedling—rockets up quickly, its arching branches cloaked in tiny bronze-purple leaves and crimson new stems. A light clip will turn it into a dense, colour-rich hedge or screen. Come summer, the plant is dusted with a profusion of single white flowers. Tough and drought-tolerant, ‘Copper Sheen’ delivers year-round foliage interest and reliable shelter with minimal fuss.
