Description
Felix Jury’ is a cultivar of the Taiwanese cherry (Prunus campanulata) prized for its early and abundant display of large, deep rose-red, single flowers. Blooming from late winter to early spring, these nectar-rich blossoms hang in pendulous clusters, attracting birds. In autumn, its leaves turn a beautiful mix of red, gold, and orange. This cultivar forms an upright, pyramidal tree and is well-suited as a street tree. It is not sterile. The parent species, Prunus campanulata, is native to China and Taiwan, and ‘Felix Jury’ was developed in New Zealand.
