Description
Amanogawa’ is a cultivar of the Japanese flowering cherry (Prunus serrulata ‘Amanogawa’) known for its distinctive narrow, upright growth habit, making it ideal for tight spaces where height is needed, as well as for lining avenues and driveways. In mid to late-spring, it produces fragrant clusters of semi-double flowers that range from white to pale-pink. Autumn brings a display of orange and yellow foliage. This cultivar is also an excellent choice as a street tree and originated in Japan in the 19th century.
