Description
Betula platyphylla var. japonica, also known as Japanese White Birch, is a deciduous tree with a slender growth habit characteristic of birches, but it features larger and more substantial leaves compared to some other varieties. In autumn, its foliage turns a vibrant yellow. A notable feature of this variety is its strikingly white bark, which retains its color even as the tree matures, extending down to the base of the trunk.
