Description
Acer palmatum ‘Shidava Gold’ is a stunning dwarf Japanese maple that offers year-round beauty to any garden. Its new leaves emerge as light-green in spring, transition to yellow-green throughout summer, and then turn a golden-yellow in autumn. During winter, the green bark on its young stems provides a welcome splash of color. This cultivar prefers moist and well-drained soils but may experience leaf scorch in excessive sun, wind, or drought. It is cold-hardy and can also be grown as bonsai.
