Description
Acer palmatum ‘Shin-deshojo’ is a deciduous cultivar prized for its outstanding foliage. In spring, it displays vibrant flaming-scarlet leaves that transition to a blend of green and pink throughout the summer. Autumn brings another brilliant display of flaming-scarlet. This cultivar has a spreading growth habit, making it an excellent choice for filling garden beds. It thrives in moist and well-drained soils but may be susceptible to leaf scorch in excessive sun, wind, or drought. It is cold-hardy and can also be cultivated as bonsai.
