Description
Acer palmatum ‘Trompenburg’ is a deciduous cultivar characterized by its distinctively downward-rolling, finger-shaped leaves, creating a unique texture. In spring, it displays rich purple-red foliage that transitions to a purple-green shade throughout the summer. Autumn brings a stunning crimson-orange color to the leaves. With its erect, round-headed growth habit, it makes an attractive addition to gardens. This cultivar prefers moist and well-drained soils but can be prone to leaf scorch in excessive sun, wind, or drought. It is cold-hardy and can also be cultivated as bonsai.
